About this Blog

I am a feminist living in London, and this blog was born as a result of my various beliefs.

I believe in an equal society free from oppression, where discrimination on the grounds of gender, race and sexuality will be non-existent. I believe in the right of the individual to grow up unhampered by prescribed roles. I believe in freedom from religious tyranny; I believe in independent thought. I believe in clarity of vision, and the courage to speak out about it. I believe that words can lead to change.

In this blog, I talk about my personal experiences, as well as critique certain aspects of culture through the lens of feminism. I love to read comments on my posts, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts!

  1. looking through your blog, I have fallen in love with it. it is nice to find people who can view things in such a refreshing way, headed for change.

  2. I discovered your blog today and read through all of it in one sitting. It is well written and thoughtful. I have never really identified myself as feminist before, but you may have changed that. I am living in Uganda at the moment and the sexism is even more staggering here. Your blog is giving me the spirit to stand up in a country where it is extremely rampant (pretty much the norm) and hopefully inspire both men and women to stand against it.
